President & CEO
As President & CEO of Kent Record Management, Greg is responsible for the strategic focus of the business. Greg’s career at Kent Record Management began in 1987 when he became the company’s first full-time courier. From there, he has moved on to involvement in every aspect of the business. Greg has been a member of ARMA International since 1996 and currently serves on the board of the ARMA West Michigan Chapter. Active in his local church, he has been involved in youth ministry, worship band, mission trips and various committees there.
Chief Operating Officer
As the COO of Kent Record Management, Dan serves as our operational facilitator and oversight of facilities maintenance. He also serves on various senior management committees and performs audits. Dan is a graduate of Calvin College with a BA in secondary education and has taught at Grand Rapids Christian High & Sylvan Christian Middle School. He’s been with KRM since 1987 & has worn many hats over the years including warehousing, transportation, human resources & operations management.
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO of Kent Record Management, Lori oversees the accounting department and has been part of Kent Records from the very beginning. Lori began working for the company since its inception in September 1981, sometimes on a part-time basis, as she took the time to raise her two children. Before working for Kent Record Management, she was employed by Elston-Richards Storage Company, which was later purchased by the founders of Kent Records. In April of 1997, Lori became an owner of Kent Record Management Inc.
Andrew Ysasi is the Executive Director of Kent Record Management Inc. and has been with KRM since 2007. Andrew guides the board of directors to ensure strategic goals are set and accomplished and has presented across the US as a subject matter expert. Andrew is a Certified Records Manager (CRM), Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and an Information Governance Professional (IGP). Andrew serves as Regent of the Exam Development Committee for the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) for the 2017-2019 term and has volunteered with the ICRM since 2012. Andrew was elected as a Director for PRISM International in 2016 and also serves on a local school board. Andrew is a past adjunct professor at Davenport University and holds a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Director of Operations
Rick, in his role as Director of Operations, is responsible for the operational oversight of all KRM operations. He has been with Kent Record Management since 1990 and is committed to not only providing outstanding customer service but also ensuring our staff is continuously trained as well as seeking to improve operational efficiency in all areas. He has built and maintained many strong business relationships with our clients throughout his years with KRM.
Operations Supervisor, Grand Rapids
Eric’s primary responsibility is ensuring accurate and timely service for our Grand Rapids customers. He started at KRM in 2001 in fleet maintenance and, shortly after, added a courier route to his responsibilities. After six years, Eric moved into an operations position in the Grand Rapids record center. Eric graduated from West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids in 1993 and immediately moved into a full-time job after high school as an auto technician at a GM dealership. That background of vehicle maintenance and repair in a dealership led him to his first job at Kent Records in vehicle maintenance. Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, bowling and golf, along with family time spent in his cabin up north.
Operations Supervisor, Muskegon
Chris joined the Kent Record Management family in February 2013 through the acquisition of Lakeshore Document Services, a Muskegon-based document management company. Chris brings over 14 years of experience in the fields of record storage and secure document destruction to his position of Operations Supervisor for KRM’s Lakeshore site. Chris is responsible for managing the site’s resources effectively to give clients along the Lake Michigan shoreline the best possible experience in secure document management. Chris is a graduate of Fruitport High School (Class of 1998), and attended Baker College of Muskegon from 1998-2002, earning a degree in Business Management. In March 2012, Chris earned the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) designation from the National Association of Information Destruction, becoming one of less than 150 people in the United States to be recognized as experts in the field of secure document and media destruction. In his free time, Chris enjoys playing golf, trivia, music, reading and serving the community as a member of the Greater Muskegon Jaycees.
Operations Supervisor, Benton Harbor
Tammy joined KRM through the acquisition of Metro Business Archives in January 2013. She brings with her ten years of experience in document storage and secure document destruction. Her role at Metro was the Operations / Office Manager which included running the day to day operations efficiently while providing outstanding customer service for their clients. Tammy brings that same enthusiasm to KRM. In December 2011, Tammy graduated from Lake Michigan College with High Honors earning an Associate in Applied Business (AAB) – Accounting Degree. Tammy earned the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) designation from the National Association of Information Destruction, becoming one of less than 150 people in the United States to be recognized as experts in the field of secure document and media destruction.
As Kent Record Management’s IT Supervisor, B.J. oversees the IT infrastructure of KRM for both internal and external customers. B.J., who joined KRM in January of 2010, has over 19 years IT experience (in diverse areas) including network and system administration, IT planning, system design, security analysis/response, disaster recovery, and IT compliance and has previously worked in the manufacturing, business consulting, medical, and educational industries in an IT capacity. He is a 2005 graduate of Davenport University where he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Networking. He is currently serving as the Chapter President for the West Michigan AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals) and is the U.P. Team Leader for the Michigan Cyber Civilian Corps (MiC3).
As KRM’s Imaging Supervisor, Betty has experience with various forms of digitization including microfilm, fiche, aperture cards, bound books and newspapers & custom paper scanning. Betty joined KRM in 2013 through the acquisition of Lakeshore Document Services where she served as Imaging Manager since 2007, with an emphasis on customer care and quality products. Betty is a graduate of Calvin College with a BA in Elementary Education. Following college, she was a lender with First Michigan Bank/Huntington Bank for 23 years. She is married and has 2 sons and 1 awesome grandson. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends, skiing, boating and other outdoor activities.
Matthew is the HR Supervisor at KRM. He graduated Davenport University with his bachelor’s in HR Management and came to work for Kent Records in January 2012. He also holds his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Matthew oversees all the HR functions corporate wide, ensuring HR compliance and working closely with other Supervisors to maintain staffing and personnel needs. He has a background in psychology and studied music before settling into HR.
James joined the KRM family in February 2013 and has worked in the records management industry since 2006. Recently, James has moved into the role of Corporate Accountant after serving as a Financial Analyst and Administration Supervisor with KRM. His goal is to not only streamline accounting practices for KRM and customer alike but also, look for ways to provide world class service to customers. James is a 2010 graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) in Management. He is married and has one son. In his free time, James loves spending time with his family. He also is an avid reader, enjoys watching movies, playing games of all sorts, and is an active member of his church.
Senior Account Executive
Steve came to KRM in 2010, partnering with businesses to improve their operational workflows, help them make cost-effective decisions, and to provide solutions to help them achieve strategic goals using technology and knowledge from his diverse business background. In addition to his education in document storage and management, he brings over 25 years of business management experience to KRM’s clients along with personal knowledge of the challenges facing business owners, managers, and their employees. From that perspective, he can help clients with recommendations of the various services KRM offers, tailoring solutions to their specific needs. The end result? Bringing organizational assistance to any business with the benefit of reducing their overhead expenses while providing security and peace of mind. Steve holds the CompTIA CDIA+ certification.
Senior Account Executive
Becky Richardson joined Kent Records in 2013. Becky brings several years of business consultation experience in building long term business relationships and helping streamline business functions for both large and small organizations. Becky is a healthcare industry expert working with large healthcare organizations to maximize their efficiencies and effectively manage their business operations. Becky’s consultative approach to building custom solutions offers a personalized experience for business decision makers. Becky is a 1995 graduate of Western Michigan University. Along with her enthusiasm and genuine and caring approach, she brings with her several years of business management and sales success in both property management and financial sales.
Heather Van Drunen
Heather serves as Sales and Marketing Coordinator for KRM’s ever-growing sales team. She also assists the executive staff with routine tasks and various projects. She has 15 years administrative experience working with a variety of companies, always specializing in customer service. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her community, writing, camping and being by, in, or on water.
